About this theme
Lyra is a website theme for NGOs, charities and community organisations. It brings together everything a nonprofit needs to raise money and build trust online, from a donate form and fundraising campaigns to events, stories and a transparency page, in a warm, hopeful design that loads instantly on any phone.
Who it’s for
Charities, NGOs, foundations, community groups and social enterprises, whether you work in one town or across several countries. It’s also a strong starting point for designers and agencies who build sites for nonprofits.
Built for giving
The donate form puts monthly giving first, shows what each amount achieves, and sends donors to your provider with the amount already chosen: Givebutter, Donorbox, Stripe Payment Links or another hosted form. Campaigns show their goal, progress and days left, and a donate bar stays in reach on phones.

Who is Lyra for?
NGOs, charities, foundations and community organisations of any size that raise money online and want a website that's quick to update and quick to load on any phone.
How do donations work?
Visitors choose monthly or one-off and an amount, each with a line on what it achieves. Lyra then sends them to your donation provider's secure checkout with the amount filled in. It works with Givebutter, Donorbox, Stripe Payment Links and most other hosted donation forms, so you never handle card details.
Can I run fundraising campaigns?
Yes. Each campaign has a goal, the amount raised, a donor count and a deadline, with a progress bar and a days-left countdown that stays correct without rebuilding the site. Campaigns can lead the home page or sit on any page as cards.
Is it multilingual?
Yes. Lyra ships in English and Spanish, with translated addresses under /es/, a language switcher, hreflang tags and a sitemap for every language. You can add more languages, including right-to-left ones like Arabic, or run it in one language only.
How do I build pages?
Every page is a list of blocks in a plain text file. Open the block library, copy the snippet for the block you want, paste it into a page and change the words. There are 24 blocks in 49 variants, from heroes and donate forms to spending charts and team grids.
Can it show where donations go?
Yes. The transparency page has a spending chart, downloadable annual reports and accounts, and badges for your registrations and ratings, all built from blocks you can use on any page.
Do I need to code?
No. Your details, pages, causes, campaigns, events and stories are edited in plain text files, and the documentation explains every setting step by step. You'll need to run a few commands to install and publish the site.
What does the license cover?
One website, for your own organisation or for a client, with six months of premium support and future updates included.
